I stopped by Sephora today, and took a look around. Pretty much immediately a new Benefit display caught my eye. I decided to get the World Famous Neutrals palette. It comes with 4 eyeshadows and 2 mini cream eyeshadows. I'm not usually one to buy this type of palette, because I simply hate the packaging. It's the reason I don't own any Two Faced palettes. This time though, I just couldn't pass up the colors. I plan to depot them, I think they will fit into my MAC palette, but if not I plan to get a z-palette.
Milk It!, Raincheck?, Pause for Applause
Blingo!, Holy Smokes!, Bikini-tini
I also used 100 points to get a sample of the Make Up For Ever HD Powder. I've wanted to try it for a while now, and I plan to buy a MUFE foundation after I finish a couple that I have right now.
My Sephora lady said that these palettes are selling out like crazy, so if you want to get your hands on one, you may want to get yourself to Sephora ASAP.

I agree! That packaging is pretty terrible. I JUST got a Z Palette in the mail yesterday. I bought it of ebay, so It was much less expensive. They're slightly blemished, but mine was totally fine with me. I've never depotted before, and I have a lot of different brands to put together - e.l.f, NYX, Too Faced, Vic Secret, etc. Have you don't it a lot. Any pointers?

DeleteI've been looking at the ones on Ebay too, but always get discouraged at the "blemish" part. I probably wouldn't be a lucky as you. I've only ever depotted MAC and Urban Decay, both of which I did the same way. I just used a lighter to sort of melt the bottom, and then I used a screwdriver to push up through the soft plastic to push the pan out of the container. I watched a video on youtube, and it was pretty helpful. With this particular palette, it's cardboard, so I'm not sure how I'm going to depot yet.
DeleteI hear ya - it's a bit of a risk, but really, I was surprised by how okay it looked. :) Well... let me know on the depotting! I'm thinking an exacto knife might do the trick? :)
DeleteOh no! I think you just posted something I need to go buy lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, I am such a neutrals girl and I snatch up every neutrals palette I can find - so I probably will go buy this =)
You definitely should! I love it!
DeleteOh boo! There are two of them?! - twice the trouble.
ReplyDeleteI know! I stood there debating for quite some time, but went with this one because of the purple color.
DeleteI've been hearing so much about these palettes! The colors look beautiful. But I'm never going to finish my current eye shadows so I'm restraining. Will just drool over yours instead haha.
ReplyDeletehaha! I'm in the same boat, but do not have the restraint that you do!
DeleteI wish we had these products in Greece :)
